I used to go to Slide Breakfast House at least 2 or 3 times a week but the new management and waitstaff are very rude and a bit on the trashey side. I would never recommend this place to anyone and they may not care about loosing a good and loyal customer but I know of several that have been lost in the past few weeks,so unless your intent is to be treated badly don't go there.

I was in having lunch today and thought I recognized the cook at the buffet table so I asked the waitress his name and found out that he was also her husband.When I got home I looked on the list of sexual predators in Lubbock and there was his picture Rudy Garcia Look it up for your self and to think this is supposed to be a family restaurant.I certainly will not be supporting this place and I would like to hope no one else does as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I had always enjoyed the service more than the food until this past Sunday and now the service is awful.Our waitress was rude and so was the hostess, Don't waste your money the food sucks.

went for lunch today its been a while since i was there, my waitress was very rude, turns out she was also the manager. why is the manager waiting tables? if shes rude she should just be sitting at her desk. let someone else nice handle the patrons. ive said in my other reviews i wont goback buti might try to go on a day when shes not there or atleast when i can have the option of a different waitress. so maybe a weekend ill let you know how it goes.

the place used to be good, around september this new blonde lady who i think is the new owner showed up. she is very rude doesnt know how to do anything. i was ready to check out 1 time she was standing at the register completely ignored me until i said can i check out please. she looked at me and very rudely said i dont know how to do it so youll just have to wait. i wanted to just walk out. then they have this waitress back AGAIN diana who has been fired fromt here several times. she never knew what she was doing before and still doesnt constanly over charges people. i think every1 in there is related or wants to be. so if you complain and ask for a manager they just laugh at you. there used to be another blonde younger girl who managed it she was way sweeter and everyone seemed nicer at that time. i dont know where she went. but if i had been her i wouldhave left when this other lady stepped into the picture as well. i do not in any way what so ever recomend this place. not to mention the head cook is a child malester.

Some friends and I went there on thurs oct 28th and were not treated very well.I don't know what happened to the friendly waitstaff who used to work there but it was enough to make sure we never go again.

I made the horrible mistake of eating there on Sunday October 24th. My waitress a TWEEKER who said her name was Diana was rude, tried to overcharge us and when asked who to complain to I was told by her that her sister was the manager/owner so that explains why she still has a job.I will never go there again and I recommend no one else does.

I stopped in for breakfast on Mon. Oct. 4th 2010 and was greeted by the rudest hostess and waitress I have ever had.I then found out the waitress was the manager. I will never go there again and I will tell everyone I know not to go there as well!!!!!!!!!!!!
